(12/16/2002) Guest Article 529: The PLEX-Method (Lyn Keller)
Fine Print: PNOHTEFTU is a _living_ book. In other words, all laws of the
physical Universe do apply. Which means that this book is subject to
the phenomena of ENTROPY: letters are moving around, punctuation and
grammar deterioate, at times entire words seemed to have migrated to
other chapters. Note, that this work was in a perfect condition before it
was handed down into the thermodynamic mess of this Universe.
Therefore, please address any complaints about grammar, punctuation, and
spelling directly to the designer of this Universe who invented this silly
entropy thing. The structure of this notebook is different from other books. The rationale for this structure (or rather: non-structure) is outlined in chapter 12. Structure and Method.
In a nutshell, every chapter can be read independently from all others and it shouldn't matter where one starts.
For example, you can begin with the Postface
![]()
and end with the Pre-Preface.
![]()
Some people can't live with that, and here are several more conventional ways to select chapters from the notebook:
- by subscribing to an automatic mailing list (one chapter every other day)
- by selecting chapters from the Index
- by downloading the entire hypertext version of the last zipped Version 3.1 (12/16/02) - approx. 1.3 MByte) book as a zip file and run it locally (off-line) on your harddrive; in this case, it is recommended to subscribe to the automatic mailing list in "add-on mode" in order to receive the latest additions or revisions.
